TVR Chimaera 500 “Pearl Blue”

First registered in October 1998 this lovely Chimaera 5 litre is finished in the most desirable spec for a TVR of this era. The paintwork is Pearl Blue and in very good condition with only a few small marks. The wheels are the original 5 litre Estorils fitted with Toyo tyres. The interior is Magnoila half hide with Prussion blue contrasting areas to the dash and door cards. The carpets are Navy blue with Magnolia binding.
Fitted with the 5 litre TVR developed Rover V8, this engine was TVR's most powerful engine spec at the time and delivers copious amounts of power and torque. The engine in this car was rebuilt in 2012 at 45,929 miles by TVR Power to standard spec. Having only covered 14,500 miles since and is barely run in.
Being a later car it benefits from the Serpentine spec engine paired with the Borg Warner T5 gearbox and BTR LSD differential. In 2019 at 54,674 miles the dampers and springs were upgraded to Nitron.
This Str8six prepared TVR will come with Str8six's renowned "All the 12s" handover specification - i.e. Full 12,000 miles service, 12 months MOT, plus our 12 months/12,000 miles - FULL WEAR and TEAR WARRANTY. It also comes with 6 months TAX and a hard wired C-Tek trickle charger.
