“V16TORY TVR”? Well, if you hadn’t noticed, the registration plate is V16 TVR, which will come with the car. And this Tuscan has sufficient presence to persuade white vans to move out of the outside lane on Motorways.
The car was the subject of a full TVR Power engine rebuild and benefited from a full gas-flowed cylinder head, new camshafts, DeCat exhausts and an ECU remap making this a VERY quick Tuscan. It is also equipped with an uprated clutch to handle the power.
The car is finished in Aluminium Silver with an interior in black half hide embellished with Portland grey stitching. The theme is continued with black carpeting - also bound in Portland. The targa roof is lined in black Alcantara. The car’s Spider alloys are finished in dark shadow Chrome and these suit the car’s colourways perfectly.
V16 TVR has always been garaged and has never lived outside. Its specification is comprehensive. In addition to the uprated engine, it includes::

The last owner was very committed to the car and, apart from the £7,000 spent on the engine, he also authorised a further outlay of £11,000 in 2020 with Str8six. This was to ensure the car was fully sorted mechanically and electronically in all areas. The work involved a full 12,000 mile service and uncompromising attention to the suspension.The latter included replacing upper and lower wishbones, fitting new upper and lower ball joints, etc,. as well as rebuilding the Nitron dampers and installing new Eibach springs all round. On top of that, the car’s heating and air conditioning were brought right up to spec, as were the alarm and immobiliser systems. And most recently the car received a new battery.
After all this attention to detail, Str8six was more than happy to buy the car from its last owner when he offered it to us. And we have absolutely no reservation in supplying V16 TVR to its next owner supported by Str8six’s market-leading “All the 12’s“ Sales Specification. This will comprise another FULL 12,000 service, 12 months MOT and 12 Months TAX. The car will of course also be provided with our 12 Months/12,000 miles FULL WEAR and TEAR, PARTS and LABOUR, NO QUIBBLE WARRANTY. And V16 TVR will also be equipped with a 12v trickle charger and an Anderson jump start cable.
As previously noted, the car is fitted with a fully serviceable alarm and immobiliser, and will come with its vital “Red Card” and two full sets of keys, fobs and “Dallas” wands.
Maybe the final and most important affidavit is that, in our opinion, this particular Tuscan Mk1 drives absolutely beautifully. And we drive a very great number of Tuscan Mk1’s every year, so that is a fully qualified, objective assessment.
And on top of all the above, V16 TVR’s service book has stamped and signed cards covering all the services carried out during the car’s life. And the car’s provenance file is packed with Invoices, MOT Certificates and historical records. It even includes a comprehensive handbook for the car’s Sony In Car Entertainment system.
